Identifying differences and contrasting vocabulary is an important language skill in the language processing hierarchy for building vocabulary knowledge. This hierarchy provides the framework for selecting language goals and providing language therapy in a systematic way.

This product contains 108 differences cards. There are 8 cards for each skill area to teach students to identify items by size, shape, color, material, sense, location, association, function and category, as well as 27 cards for mixed differences cards. There is a visual mat for contrasting vocabulary. These are an easy prep product. The accompanying worksheets are also perfect for additional practice and homework. There are 5 receptive and 11 expressive worksheets (16 total) in both a black and white or color version.
