Description

This digital activity (google slide) allows students to practice identifying whether a set of ordered pairs, a mapping diagram, a graph or a table represents a function or not a function. This download includes two versions (15 different problems on each version).

How it works:

Students work through the various slides determining whether each problem is a function or not a function. They use the ovals off to the side to select their answers. Based on their answer, they will be given a hint about their number. This will give them the ability to cancel out numbers on their number slide (the final slide). I just have students use the ‘paint can’ tool to cancel out each option. In the end, only one number will remain.

This was a great way to get students working on functions without using a worksheet. They really loved the opportunity to work on their computers with this activity.
