Description
This foldable introduces students to the Standard Form of linear equations, and includes various characteristics including the definition (graphically and algebraically of linear equations), the variables that are used, examples, and non-examples. There are 6 examples included where students are asked to determine whether or not an equation is linear. If it is linear, they are asked to rewrite it in standard form and identify A, B, and C. If it's not linear, they are asked to justify why.
All examples have been thoughtfully chosen to generate discussions about misconceptions and common mistakes, and the notes themselves have been designed to fit perfectly in an interactive notebook.
