Description
This is a great way to introduce the concept of slope and y-intercept. I use pattern blocks and talk about how it grows (rate of change/slope) and where you start from (y-intercept). Students color and have a visual representation. Students will also be able to take their pattern and write it as an equation, then use that equation to solve other questions. There are 5 different patterns, use some use all! Answer key included.
