Identifying syllables is a phonological awareness skill, that is fundamental to literacy, including reading, writing, manipulating sounds and words.
Rhyming is one, and identifying syllables is another phonological awareness skill that children will learn, on their way to becoming skilled and competent readers, writers and learners. This generally happens around 4-5 years old.
This wonderful, fun filled resource would be ideal for:
- Children 4+ years old.
- Children who are learning to identify to put syllables together and count syllables.
- Children who are having difficulties with reading and writing.
