I really enjoyed this resource. It is always a staple lesson to use at the beginning of the year with my 5th graders as they start the year as the oldest students in our school with younger students looking up to them and their behaviors. Will definitely foster good conversation amongst your students and get them thinking about who they are as a person and how they can mold and shape who they want to be based on characteristics of their identity that they can or cannot change.

I liked this slideshow but felt it was a little basic for my 5th graders. The slides lead to a more surface discussion than I would have liked.
