These activities are independent activities that students can do when they have finished classwork. The activities are things I often see my students struggling with: Addition/subtraction basic fact families, place value, multiplication/division fact families, skip counting, finding multiples, dolch, words, and sight words.
As with any resource, you want to teach into each one. So, I suggest only giving out what you have taught into. Add to it as you go through the year, or as you see students mastering each skill.
I have used mine as morning work while students eat breakfast, and also as a resource to go to when "I'm done..." happens. I tell them I should never see anyone done, you always have something to be working on to improve upon, and you can find it in your folder! It cuts down on a lot of idle time, and gives students practice they desperately need.
