Description
This product uses our NEW Georgia ELA standards that are coming out to teach a concept in Social Studies. Students will be given a topic on Immigrants (What was life like for Immigrants in America at the Turn of the Century?) to answer using evidence from a short passage, a short video clip, and a short audio clip. Students will answer the question and add evidence to support their claim for each of the 3 areas above.
You can use this as a project, an extension, a formative assessment, or as a daily grade.
