Incentive – Behavior – Reward – Sticker Charts

Included are 30 blackline and 30 color copies of sticker / stamp charts with seasonal graphics. The charts have 10 boxes; students may earn a sticker or stamp for desired behaviors and may earn a reward when the chart is full.

You might choose to use the charts as a whole class system or as an individual reward or contract for students who need additional assistance with following class rules.

I like this method of rewarding students because students have a visual reminder on their desks to reinforce positive behavior and, when the chart is full, they may receive timely reinforcement for their hard work.

The chart is a ten frame; it is exciting to see the children start doing math as they figure out how many more stickers/stamps they need. For example, by being able to look at 6 filled boxes and, without counting, declare, “I only need 4 more stickers!”

I copy the blackline sheets on colored paper and change the graphics/colors seasonally or monthly. A set with colored graphics is also included should you want to print color copies. There are 4 charts on one page (US letter size - 8.5” x 11”); when cut apart, the charts measure 5.5” x 4”.

Children may earn a sticker or stamp for behaviors such as:

→ Being on task

→ Working quietly

→ Following directions

→ Completing an assignment / homework

→ Not moving a clip down the behavior chart

→ Any behaviors that you are emphasizing at the moment.

When a child earns 10 stickers or stamps, possible rewards are:

→ Choose an item from the treasure box

→ Extra iPad / computer time

→ Time at a math – playdough – art center

→ Free homework assignment

→ Anything that motivates your students!
