This lesson was developed to provide an introduction to the term inclusion, using the wonderfully heartwarming story of SPORK by Kyo Maclear. This lesson is for a whole class (grades 2-4). I allow time for plenty of discussion and sharing. This product includes a blank SPORK for students to decorate, Inclusion Mission Statement to post in the classroom and a link to a SPORK "One-of-a Kind" certificate. Remember, everyone is "just right" and everyone has a place. Be kind…everyone matters.
