This curriculum outline and checklist is a tool for independent or homeschool study of advanced drawing and/or painting. The checklist contains three main categories: uses of art mediums, definitions of terms, and demonstrations of terms. The curriculum can essential be broken up into 8 units/projects for students to work on that demonstrate a variety of important drawing and painting skillsets.

This tool can also be used by educators in a regular classroom setting as a curriculum outline for a drawing/painting course. In addition, classroom or homeschool educators could use this document as a guide for students trying to develop a portfolio to demonstrate their technical art skills in a college portfolio application.
