Description

Students read short, intriguing scenarios/questions, followed by three answer choices. This activity is perfect for whole group, small group, partner activity, individual practice, or as a center activity! This activity is also a great way to check for understanding and promote student discussion/reasoning skills. Students will love searching for clues that lead to the correct answer! Students can use fun highlighters/markers to tag their clues! This activity includes 24 scenarios/questions to strengthen students' skills. This activity is ideal for 3-4th grade and can also be helpful to high performing 2nd graders and older students (5th graders) who may struggle with reading/reading strategies. Answer key included. This activity is the 1st in a series of 4 inferencing activities. Check out the other three at my store leadteachprep! Enjoy!
