Are you looking for a resource that will allow your students to read short passages and identify each passage's text structure? The informational text structure worksheet contains 5 passages. These are the text structures present in this resource:
- Description
- Sequence
- Cause and Effect
- Problem and Solution
- Compare and Contrast
This printable is a two-page document (photocopied back-to-back will produce a two-sided worksheet). An answer key is included.
********This resource is available in two formats:
- Traditional Printable- Print the PDF and distribute a paper copy to your students to complete.
- Easel Activity- With this digital format, there is one passage per slide. Students read the passage and identify its text structure. They type their answer into the answer box.
