Informational Text Structures PowerPoint: 32 Paragraph Slides, CCSS RI 5
This PowerPoint consists of 32 animated slides, each with an informational text (nonfiction) paragraph for students to analyze along with 4 multiple choice options. When you first display each slide, you will see only the informational text paragraph. Students who need a greater challenge can answer the question at this point. When you click, the four multiple choice options appear, making the question easier for those who need the differentiation. The final click reveals the correct answer.
Contents of this set include:
• Compare and Contrast
• Problem and Solution
• Cause and Effect
This would be a great activity to use with the whole class. Students can answer verbally, on individual white boards, with sign language (A,B,C, D), or on notebook paper. It could also be used with individuals at a computer. This will work well for test prep or review.
The paragraphs in the PowerPoint were taken directly from my Informational Text Structures Task Cards
so if you have those cards, the content will be the same.
Please note that this PowerPoint is in Show format and cannot be edited. Please download the free preview to see how the show works. The animation is the same on every slide in the show.
