Are you in need of a research project for your Weather Unit? This is an Informational Writing & Research resource with VIDEO where students can progress in writing skills at their own academic level. If you are wondering how you will teach your students about weather in a way that they can come up with their own facts, check this resource out. This resource can be used in a whole group setting or during small group time.
In this Informational Writing unit your students will learn research facts about weather through a PowerPoint (or Google Slides™) slideshow or video. Then they will draw or write the facts into books (one page books that can be folded). There are 11 different books that allow you to differentiate learning for your students. There are also Google Slides™ included for students to type the facts. Use it in your kindergarten, first grade or second grade classroom or for any student working on informational writing.
There is a link to the 22 Google Slides™ on the Teacher Instructions inside the product (the file is labeled Google Slides Link and Teacher Instructions). The rest of the resource may be used without Google™.
