Description

Here's a set of 24 Input Output Function Table Math Task Cards for 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 8th grade. Some questions ask for the rule where other questions ask for the missing number on the Input or Output side, but don't give the rule so students have to figure out the rule to answer the question. These are all adding or subtracting.

You can have your students play Scoot, Quiz, Quiz Trade, use as a math center, station or rotation, for early finishers, small groups, exit tickets if cut apart or problem of the day, which can be put in math journals. These are only in black and white.

This resource includes:

  1. Suggestions for Use
  2. 24 Task Cards
  3. Recording Sheet
  4. Answer Key

Please note, I have not supplied graphs for the 8th grade standard. You can have students graph it on graph paper. I know these types have tables have also been used in elementary school without graphing but are not a Common Core standard.
