Description
Inquiry-based learning is a student-centered and teacher-guided instructional approach. It empowers students to become critical thinkers. It increases students’ ability to develop a deep understanding of content while increasing students’ intellectual engagement.
Students start by thinking of countries they would like to research and why. Then, students pose questions about their country. Students go through the research process by finding sources and information about the country they choose to write about. Students will become more invested in their learning when they have more control over what they will research.
In addition to resources for conducting inquiry-based country research and writing a research essay, you will also find resources for students to create their own country and a brochure to display information about the country they created.

Great resource. very engaging. Would recommend for in-person or distance learning.
We are using this set for a final project. I enjoy how the writing is inquiry based and students must come up with their own thoughtful questions.
As a basis for an expository writing project. Thank you!
Great activity for kids to reinforce our learning
Thank you so much!
This was great to help students organize their research.
