engagement.
Students start by thinking of important inventors or inventions they would like to research and why. Then, students pose questions about their inventor or invention. Students go through the research process by finding sources and information about the invention they choose to write about. Students will become more invested in their learning when they have more control over what they will research.

My class loved researching inventors and their inventions.
This resource as a whole was a bit overwhelming for my students. Next time, I will have to present it in sections to them as they progress in their research.
