Students will collect 10 different insects and research and classify these ten insects into the correct order, the correct Genus/Species name and common name based on shared characteristics in this tried and true old school project. Lesson includes project requirements, the insect collection record sheet (digital or printed as a hard copy), a bonus opportunity for students, and a template for creating labels for each student.
