Description
This is an Educational Game.
Which animal is an Insect?
Remember an animal is classified as an insect when it has:
3 body parts
6 legs
Exoskeleton
Antennae
In this power point it gives facts about the following insects:
The Popular Beetle
Annoying Fly
Amazing Ant
Gentle Ladybug
Resilient Grasshopper
Incredible Bee
Beautiful Butterfly
I do not repeat the same information over and over again. It is all new and additional information about these insects that my other power points did not discuss.
My students loved this activity. You can do this activity two ways: you can have them verbally decide which is an animal or insect and work in teams or as a group or you can print out the paper with both animals on it and they will circle which one they think is an insect and then discuss at the end.
This power point can be used to assess, pre-test or test what they already learned.
This lesson follows the CORE Curriculum and asks lots of thought provoking questions...
Your students will be a lot wiser because you taught them this information.
You can also print this out laminate and have for many years.
Have fun learning!
