Description
The term 'nomenclature' originates from the Latin word nomenclatura, which means 'assigning names.' Nomenclature enriches vocabulary, develops language skills, and enhances the understanding of concepts.
The Insect Nomenclature Cards are formatted in a 3-part card series with a blackline master included. Match the labels to the corresponding pictures. Verify the matches using the control cards (cards with labels attached).
The 11 parts of the insect: insect, head, thorax, abdomen, eyes, antennae, forelegs, middle legs, hind legs, forewings, and hind wings.
Includes:
- 11 cards with labels
- 11 cards without labels
- 11 labels
- 1 blackline master
After the children have learned the individual parts, they can create their own booklet by coloring and labeling the blackline master.
Cards with labels are approx. 3¾" x 4", cards without labels are approx. 1" shorter.
