Insect research posters for informative writing

Students research an assigned insect

When research is complete, students fill in the poster and you have a great hallway display! A second option is to use the poster as a guide while taking notes, then write a report on included paper. Either take notes on the posters for reports writing or use them for hallway display!

Also includes :

•Lined paper for note taking

•Lined paper for report writing (2 versions)

•Report paper with an area to draw a picture or a diagram (2 versions)

We had been using an older format to conduct research that was just not working for the students. This was better for the students to fill out and to create a report on an insect.
