A few more details...
Students will cut out pictures and content vocabulary to glue on their paper as they write. Using pictures and content vocabulary AS students write engages them and helps aid comprehension. It eliminates students getting frustrated with difficult words that they want to use. It allows students to look at their choices and be able to think of additional sentences to add to their writing. There are many more benefits that you will see as you implement this in your classroom.

There is minimal prep for the teacher with this type of writing. It is best suited for grades K-2. It could benefit any student who struggles with comprehension and/or writing.
