Integer Addition and Subtraction Board Game - Distance learning compatible
Share

Description

Have students practice integer addition and subtraction with this fun and engaging board game! This game is similar to Chutes and Ladders, but includes a variation that is distance learning compatible! Every square on the game board states if money is spent or gained. Students will roll dice and move their game pieces. They will add and subtract along the way to keep a running balance, and at times the balance may be negative! All dollar amounts in the game are multiples of 5 for easier calculations.

Please download the preview for complete rules and a preview of the game board.

Included in this download:

  • game board (two 8.5 x 11 pages that need to be glued or taped side by side)
  • game rules - 2 variations: a small group game and a whole class game (the whole class game is distance learning compatible)
  • student work page

Enjoy!
