Description

Included: 4 Same or Different Charts/26 questions each with answers
Integer Instruction (Same or Different Charts)
There are four handouts to use as you wish (notes, extra examples, assignments, quizzes). They are labeled A-B-C-D.

The charts are in a PowerPoint format with answers so you can use the animated presentation for whole group or small group instruction, or for students to check their work if you use all or some of the charts as assignments.

Suggestions: I like to do at least one of the charts as examples during whole group instruction because the format “forces” the thought process I want students to practice. I want students to “hear” this thought process repeatedly. It really helps them to understand the “If the signs are the same, find the sum. If they are different, find the difference.” idea.

You may want to check out the Integer Bundle! which includes this activity.

I haven't used this yet, but it is something similar to what I've done in the past. I liked the order and layout of the activity.
