Description

Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying, and Dividing Integers

These puzzles are the perfect way to challenge your students or engage your fast finishers. Students solve the problems and then enter their answers into the grid. It's like a crossword puzzle but with numbers.

This product includes 5 cross-number puzzles, each with a different number of problems, ranging from 12 to 23. Thanks to the intersecting problems, these cross-number puzzles have a self-checking feature (incorrect answers won't match up with other answers in the puzzle). Each page is presented both in color and in an inkβˆ’saving black-and-white version. Students can color the black-and-white version after completing the assignment.

The pages are all ready for you to print out. Answers included.

Great for:

  • review
  • homework
  • early finishers
  • independent practice
  • group work

You can use this product as distance learning activities using Easel by TPT or printable as worksheets.

Apply and extend previous understandings of addition and subtraction to add and subtract rational numbers; represent addition and subtraction on a horizontal or vertical number line diagram.
Understand that multiplication is extended from fractions to rational numbers by requiring that operations continue to satisfy the properties of operations, particularly the distributive property, leading to products such as (–1)(–1) = 1 and the rules for multiplying signed numbers. Interpret products of rational numbers by describing real-world contexts.
Understand that integers can be divided, provided that the divisor is not zero, and every quotient of integers (with non-zero divisor) is a rational number. If 𝘱 and 𝘲 are integers, then –(𝘱/𝘲) = (β€“π˜±)/𝘲 = 𝘱/(β€“π˜²). Interpret quotients of rational numbers by describing real-world contexts.
