Do your students need more practice with integer operations (adding and subtracting integers, multiplying and dividing integers)?

Get them engaged in math with this end of the year, back to school, math centers, summer camp, or summer school fun and no-prep math challenge to practice operations with negative numbers (integers).

This challenge includes 10 missions to complete that require students to add, subtract, multiply, or divide positive and negative integers.

"You've become the chief of spies and your task is to assign agents to various missions so as to achieve the highest possible score. Each of the 18 agents can only be assigned to 1 mission and you must assign to each mission the number of agents specified."

This was a really good end of unit challenge for my students. After learning all operations with 1 and 2 digit integers, the students had to work really hard to synthesize them into a complete solution for this puzzle. This was engaging and really made students think. I highly recommend this resource!

I love activities where there's not just one right answer. Students were engaged and working hard. This activity allows for a lot of differentiation. Can't wait to use it again this year!
