Description

This bundle includes 6 products to teach the subskills of the CCSS 7.RP.A.2 and 7.NS.A.2. I found combining these domains helped reinforce them and lead to more authentic mastery for my 7th graders.

  1. Equivalent Fraction Expressions & y = kx
  2. Multiplying & Dividing Positive & Negative Integers
  3. Integer Operations and y = kx
  4. Long Division in 7th Grade & Proportions
  5. Negative Fractions
  6. Integer Operations Odd vs. Even Trick

Each resource is scaffolded to maximize student access and is varied to increase engagement and proficiency. The scaffolds are removed per gradual release to promote student independence. The preview file, also linked here, includes the suggested order of delivery and implementation guide for the sections in each resource.

Answer keys are included! Please reach out with questions/concerns. Thank you!

Apply and extend previous understandings of multiplication and division and of fractions to multiply and divide rational numbers.
Understand that multiplication is extended from fractions to rational numbers by requiring that operations continue to satisfy the properties of operations, particularly the distributive property, leading to products such as (–1)(–1) = 1 and the rules for multiplying signed numbers. Interpret products of rational numbers by describing real-world contexts.
Understand that integers can be divided, provided that the divisor is not zero, and every quotient of integers (with non-zero divisor) is a rational number. If 𝘱 and 𝘲 are integers, then –(𝘱/𝘲) = (–𝘱)/𝘲 = 𝘱/(–𝘲). Interpret quotients of rational numbers by describing real-world contexts.
