Description

A set of 10 Review Stations all about Integers! Practice with negative and positive integers, number lines, word problems, counters, operational rules and more! I love to use these after we have learned the content and as a wrap up activity. Students should feel confident in their abilities and ready for their assessment!

I love stations as it promotes independent and group work at the same time! While students are working in their stations, I pull my small group of students to give them one-on-one assistance.

Includes 10 Stations that cover:

  • Counters
  • Adding and Subtracting with the Same Signs
  • Adding and Subtracting with Different Signs
  • Using a Number Line
  • Comparing and Ordering Integers
  • Addition and Subtraction Word Problems
  • Multiply and Dividing Integers with Different Signs
  • Order of Operations using Whole Numbers, Absolute Value and Exponents (squared and cubed)
  • Multiplication and Division Word Problems
  • Absolute Value and Opposites

**These stations do not have any rational numbers (fractions/decimals)**

I require my students to do MOST basic skills without a calculator and therefore five out of the ten stations have a "No-Calculator" sign that indicates reinforcement of their solving abilities. I do not introduce calculators until the second half of the school year. I recommend your 7th grade students to also practice these skills without the aid of a calculator.

This is such a versatile resource. You can use this at the end of the unit, review at the end of the year, or review from the previous year. I like how some stations you could use as a teacher station while others could be independent.
