Description

Students classify problems based on whether the answers are positive, negative, or zero. Integers only - no fractions or decimals. This is a great quick check, warm up, exit slip, or virtual learning assignment!

Five different options for posting are included.

Option 1 - Addition Only

Option 2 - Subtraction Only

Option 3 - Multiplication/Division Only

Option 4 - Mixed Operations Only

Option 5 - All the above options in one file

Assign them all at once by posting Option 5, or day by day by posting Options 1-4 individually.

Microsoft users with a personal Google account are able to download the files as Power Points.

Please note that this is not an editable activity.

I stumbled across this resource after realizing many students were not understanding the rules. I was able to see what students could really do, as well as provide counter examples with the chips to clarify their thinking.
