In this 15 pages Unit of Work, Students’ beliefs and understandings about the air, sun and wind will be developed as they work through hands-on activities. Through investigations, they will increase their knowledge of how the characteristics of weather, day, night and the different seasons affect their daily lives and that of other living things in the environment. Students will also begin to understand through this study that the weather, climate and seasons are natural features of places which people use to describe places.
