Description
Teach students how to use the number line to add and subtract integers and the rules for multiplying and dividing integers, both with interactive activities!
*My students LOVE using this activity and often will use it independently when they feel they need a refresher*
Students slide this two-page document into the front and back of their binders, stretch a rubber band around the front of the binder, and attach a paper clip to act as a slider to demonstrate adding or subtracting integers along the number line.
Students should use a dry-erase marker to attempt the practice problems so they can erase and practice again!
Helpful materials: a binder with a clear view sleeve, a rubber band, a paper clip, and a dry erase marker.
