"This is the 2nd set of these I have bought and I am so excited to use them! Now, I teach 6th grade at a high performing school, but these are still GOLD to me. I put them together on tag board and laminated them. What I do is use them for bell ringers and exit tickets. For example, 3-2-1 chart - at the end of class I have the students (either as individuals or as a table) write down their 3-2-1s on post-it notes and stick them up there as they finish. Or on the character chart, they all stick post-its on it with traits that they pic up on while reading. I have made several story map charts so that we can complete one for each novel we read and use them to refer to throughout the year - make connections, compare & contrast, etc. You can also write on them with expo markers if you laminate - score! If I were to add anything to these sets, I would add a conflict chart, and maybe a connections chart. Maybe some more that are similar to the KWL and 321 in the first set. I'm telling you all, these are gold!"
