Description
This packet includes 8 pages of tools you can have your students cut out and put together into an interactive notebook. I have included in the preview an example of a couple of pages from a completed interactive notebook.
This packet includes interactive properties for the Color Wheel, Analogous Colors, Complimentary Colors, Cool Colors, Warm Colors, Neutral Colors, Color Schemes (Split Complimentary, Color Triad, Color Tetrad), Tints, Shades, and Monochromatic. This packet can be printed on card stock as a steady paper. Students follow the directions to color it in, cut it out, then glue it into their sketchbooks. They can then take notes around what they glued in for that part of color theory. The more relavent color (matches the colors they are taking notes on) they use the better they will remember that information.
I would highly recommend printing this on card stock. Card stock will provide a sturdier surface for students to work on and will hold up to use all year long. You will also need 2 brads per student for the interactive wheels.
I have included images of samples I have done along with my students so you can see what they could look like when your students are done.
