Description

Use this interactive anchor chart to introduce and model producing compound and complex sentences. This can be used in an interactive notebook.


The compound sentence anchor chart gets cut at the bottom on FANBOYS. Students will write each coordinating conjunction under the flap. There is a model sentence plus a practice sentence on the chart. This chart can be printed two on one page.

The complex sentence anchor chart is a two page. The left side provide all the instruction and direction of forming complex sentences. On the right side a tab is folded and glued down. Students will cut to make three flaps. Each flap is interactive. First by forming a dependent clause and under flap forming a new complex sentence.
