Interactive Health Questions
Share

Description

This is an interactive slideshow with linked answer slides. Students will answer the questions about the following topics:

tobacco, alcohol/drugs, nutrition, fitness, emotions, safety, disease prevention, homicide/suicide risks, then total scores on each topic according to the questions and then click on their scores to see a recommendation about their score. The slides have a ton of hyperlinks to the other interactive slides, so be careful to save them.

The accompanying answer sheet can be used to track answers and make goals for improvement.

This is great because students can do it on their own and not have to share their answers, so it can be used like a journal assignment. They could also fill out their sheet anonymously if you want to get some data from the class. The data could then be presented to the class who could then discuss the issues with more openness having not told everyone what they answered as an individual. This could be done monthly as a way to track progress and continue the health discussions as well.
