Math dictionaries help students keep track of vocabulary, concepts, and ideas, as well as making it easy for them to be responsible for their learning and provide a showpiece for parents. Also a dictionary makes it easy for student to review key concepts for testing. This dictionary contains blank pages from A-Z, as well as 14 ready-to-print black and white foldables to glue in, covering these common core topics: odd/even, comparing numbers (<, >, =), place value, expanded notation, money, time, graphs (bar, picture, and line plots), polygons (triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, and hexagons), angles, face/cube, fractions, length, and length tools.

FYI - As I need more foldables for my class I will add onto this file, so this product will grow.

How can I use this product?

As you summarize key concepts in math, using scissors and glue, students create the foldables and put them into their dictionary. You can also have students write directly in their dictionary. There are also six JPGs for blank foldables for you to create your own. The dictionary can be used as a whole class activity, groups, or as a math center.

NOTE: Of course you can use the foldables separately in your own interactive journal or notebook.
