3rd Grade Math Notebooks: Multiplication

CCSS.Math.Content.3.OA.A.1 Interpret products of whole numbers, e.g., interpret 5 × 7 as the total number of objects in 5 groups of 7 objects each. For example, describe a context in which a total number of objects can be expressed as 5 × 7.

Included:

•Directions with photographs for each activity

•I Can statement and vocabulary flap book with definitions for each term

•Creating equal groups activity with french fries (color and black and white versions included)

•Interpreting a multiplication expression flapbook

•Relating addition and multiplication trifold

•Finished example pages / answer keys for each activity

This is a hands-on way for kids to get involved in learning multiplication concepts aligned with 3.OA.1!
