Place Value~Rounding~Expanded Form
It's all here in this interactive place value and rounding notebook for 3rd grade. This notebook includes indepth activities for all place value and rounding. Students will engage and interact while creating their notebook and gain a concrete understanding of these concepts and practice using these skills in fun and unique ways. This notebook is truly interactive. Students will create foldables, sorts and so many of their own examples. Students will interact with their notebook in so many ways and will use it as a reference guide while applying what they learned about measurement. Each page includes an "I can" statement with the standard stated in kid-friendly language.
Skills taught in this section:
-Place Value to 1,000
-Expanded Form
-Rounding to Tens Place
-Rounding to Hundreds Place
Each part of the notebook includes easy to follow directions for all cutting, gluing, folding, sorting, etc. Also included is a picture of each completed page with examples filled in.
Each student will need:
-spiral notebook (less expensive than composition books)
-crayons or markers
-scissors
-gluestick
-copies of student pages from this journal
