This is the Interactive Notes document that goes along with my "Freshwater: Watersheds, Wetlands, Surface Water and Groundwater PowerPoint." It can also stand alone as its own fill in the blank style worksheet if you want. This document makes it easy to have the students follow along with the PowerPoint without having them copy everything! It follows the powerpoint slide by slide giving the students an opportunity to interact with the material in the powerpoint and helps them remember the material better. There is an answer key copied to the end of the document showing you what goes in the blanks.

I usually print this off as two pages on a sheet of paper so the students can cut it in half and glue it into their Interactive Science Notebooks. Using an Input/Output syle, the students complete the notes on one side and do any number of activities on the opposite page of the notebook (the opposite page is the back of the previous page in the notebook). Use these as you want and modify the word document as needed for your situation!
