"I love this resource. It is nice to be able to get students into a routine with how to complete the work and then have them be able to do similar activities with different words. The transfer also works for different sets as they are similar in style of activity. "

Description

Interactive Sight Words Notebook Pre-Primer Set {Bundle} is exactly what you need to introduce sight words to your students. I designed this book specifically for my kindergarten students. The activities are engaging and not too repetitive. Each activity is unique and will keep them interested. Students in kindergarten will be able to cut out the activities independently in small group (perfect for a small group with teacher activity). This book will help them identify, read and spell sight words. The words are taken from the Dolch pre-primer and have been broken down into four sets of 10 words. All four sets are included in this unit. The words are listed below:

Each Set Includes:

-Page Cover

My students love working on these pages. It makes learning the words fun and interactive. I can include them in my centers for the week or work on it whole group. It is also a great way for students to practice reading their sight words throughout the week with parents and each other.

I was looking for an interactive notebook for the longest time for the pre-primer and primer words because with my son I did the same thing for Fry's words. It's a nice way to document work. I love the wide variety to practice the words, especially the cutting and pasting because it is important to also learn how to spell the words. I love the coloring and I really like the sentence reading and writing to apply what has been learned. Creative, fun, engaging!
