This progress monitoring kit contains 30 assessments on phoneme isolation to help continually assess students who are struggling with beginning, middle, OR final sounds in three phoneme words. It is a great assessment tool to use with Response to Intervention programs for grades PreK-1.
This is an individual assessments that does not need to be timed. A scoring guide and progress monitoring chart are provided. Each assessment has its own page, but there is also an option to print all assessments on two short pages.
It is recommended that students have already mastered counting and identifying words in sentences, blending and segmenting syllables, and blending and segmenting onset and rime before beginning interventions and progress monitoring.
It is also recommended to teach and asses in the following ways: beginning phonemes, final phonemes, then medial phonemes.
