Description

Students will practice asking engaging interview questions while recording. They will learn how to practice interviewing, brainstorm the right interview questions and record and edit interviews for their podcasts.

**All that is needed for this activity is a computer or phone with ability to record sound, and a WiFi connection.

This lesson plan includes the Lesson Objective, Materials Needed, Warmup, Lesson Plan, Breakout Session, Key Vocabulary, Reflection, and Resources, including podcasts created by other students.

This lesson can act as both a stand-alone lesson plan or a part of a 12 week PBL podcasting class, offered as a bundle.

At Building Beats, we provide podcasting, DJ and music programs that teach entrepreneurial, leadership, and life skills to New York City and LA's low-income and minority youth. We envision a world where any individual can pursue their passion and build a career out of it.
