A really fun way to introduce basic coding command concepts to younger students! My older students had a lot of fun, too!

I feel that this is more of an advertisement. The online game links to abcya and the online game is not linked to the standard indicated. This is merely a game idea, but there is really nothing created for it. Am I not seeing the game? Can you send the direct link?

HI Jenine and thanks for your feedback! The game that I created in this lesson relates to binary code, which is a pattern to transfer information as indicated in NGSS 4-PS4-3. I would love to hear your feedback as to how this game does not represent that standard. This lesson is presented in full 5E format with questions to engage, student creation of their own patterns, and evaluation to assess student learning, and additional online resources in the from of video, career info sheet, and different online game. I am sorry that you did not feel all these resources were of value to your students.

Used this as an intro for a robotics club I run - very fun! Online resources were also helpful and sparked a lot of good conversations. Thanks!
