Description

This is an Intro to Engineering Bundle written based on my classroom experience teaching Engineering to high school students (mainly seniors).

The Bundle follows the requirements of Florida's Standard Introduction to Engineering Design 8600550. I quote: "This course exposes students to the design process, research and analysis, teamwork, communication methods, global and human impacts, engineering standards, and technical documentation. Students will employ engineering and scientific concepts in the solution of engineering design problems. In addition, they will learn to use 3D solid modeling design software to design solutions to problems. Students will develop problem solving skills and apply their knowledge of research and design to create solutions, document the process, and communicate the results."

Topics covered with their respective Florida standards:

1. Design Process | S.C. 912.N.1.1
2. Sketching and Technical Drawing | S.C. 912.N.1.7
3. Engineering Design | S.C. 912.N.1.7
4. Standard and Metric Systems of Measurements | N/A
5. Prototyping using CAD software | N/A
6. Dimensions in CAD software | N/A
7. Tolerances in Engineering Design | N/A
8. Assembling parts using CAD software | N/A
9. Creating parts using CAD software | N/A
10. Fluid power, hydraulic and pneumatic systems | N/A
11. Impact of visual design on Engineering Design | N/A
12. Reverse Engineering | S.C. 912.N.2.2

I should have noticed the other review. I bought this because the summary/description sounded great. There is not a single thing in this bundle that I have found usable. The idea is great and content list sounds wonderful but actual content/files are very lacking in content

Expensive product for little content

I bought this product believing it had many resources for each topic given the price. However, there was only one resource per topic. Some were just quizzes with no teaching resources. It's not useful to give a quiz without first having some experience with the content. I'm disappointed. This resource was not worth my money.
