Intro to Executive Functioning PowerPoint

Description

Many bright and capable students don't succeed like they should because of deficits in their executive function. This is a set of skills that help students organize, prioritize, plan, focus, control impulses, and accomplish goals- or in other words, it helps students "get things done."

By the time these students are in high school, these skills can be so insufficient to meet school demands that it can take many months or years to help them get where they need to be. Starting early is key to helping these students succeed and that is why I have created this bundle on executive function.

This is a free introduction to teaching about executive functioning to students to give you a sample of what the other lessons are like. The intro doesn't include interactive elements (as it is a short intro) but all lessons in the actual bundle are interactive. Each of the the other lessons include animations, interactive portions, and activities.

If you buy the bundle, these are the lesson included:

Planning & Organizing PowerPoint Bundle- Includes 3 PowerPoints &

Organizers

Time Management -Includes Task Cards and Worksheet

Procrastination

Impulse Control -Includes Task Cards

Perseverance

Flexible Thinking

Understanding and Managing Emotions -Includes 2 PowerPoints

Working Memory -Includes 2 PowerPoints
