In this project, you will use a numbered list and a bulleted list to create a simple slime recipe.

WHY SCREENCASTS ARE MY TEACHER'S PET
Screencasts are my #1 teaching tool and quickly became my teacher’s pet.
Here are a few reasons why I love screencasts:
- Instead of teaching a lesson AND making sure the class was paying attention, screencasts relieve me of the actual teaching so I can manage my class. Students know that since the screencast is doing the teaching, I am watching them to ensure they are focused on the lesson. Trust me when I say the focus level is very high when you are supervising from the back of the room rather than distractedly teaching from the front.
- Screencast videos are the perfect answer to helping students learn at their own pace. When students have access to the video on their own computers, they can utilize the pause and play buttons to complete the project at their own speed of learning. It also allows them to go back and review aspects of the lesson they didn’t quite catch the first time it was shown during whole group instruction.
- Screencasts are a substitute teacher's dream come true. Lesson plans are made easy when the sub has to hand out directions and press play on the computer. An added bonus is sub learns the content thus becoming more prepared to help students during work time.
