Start your school year by teaching math and STEM together in your kindergarten classroom! This lesson follows the simple I do, We do, You Do model to teach numbers and counting to your kindergarten students.

For this intro to kindergarten math lesson, your class will complete a math scavenger hunt together. Students learn about math workshop. Your students will share a little about themselves with a Math About Me Worksheet and Math Inventory.

You can set up 4 different math centers for students to engage in hands-on math learning. They can also draw a picture of their favorite part of math class.
