A number of worksheets / instruction sheets to introduce why functions and loops and used in programming.
1.Introduction to Functions and loops
Activity shows how for loops can be used to control the flashing of leds
2.Electronic Dice
Second activity to control the number of flashes in leds and creation of an electronic dice using loops, functions and random number generator.
3.Loops : Using Sounds
Activity where loops are used to increase and decrease the frequency of a buzzer continuously
4. RGB Led Controlling
Another worksheet and program showing how to pass RGB values from the keyboard into a RGB Led to control its colour.
5. Controlling led strips
Worksheet that introduces led strips and how Arduino can control them using for loops with the using Ada fruit library files
Learners will experience why we use functions and procedures and know how they differ. Links to all 5 Tinkercad programs are provided to allow students to experiment with the programs.
