This is a 5th grade lesson on PEMDAS (order of operations). These 10 editable slides include what pemdas means, what it's used for, and example problems for students to practice.
This resource will be perfect for your class if they are new to learning about this topic, or as a refresher if they haven't used it in a while. Students will learn that pemdas is a system for solving equations that have mulitple operations. They will learn that when we multiply and divide, or add and subtract, we work from left to right.
